Hi, I'm a designer, researcher and strategist. I'm a Design Lead at the global design led innovation firm, Doblin Monitor Deloitte. I'm originally from New York, but jumped across the pond in 2013 to help Doblin grow it's EMEA presence. I use design as a method to solve for complex and challenging business problems that create positive impact in the world.
I started my career in New York as an industrial designer creating aesthetically pleasing housewares products and consumer electronics. Since then, my curiosity to explore how products fit into the larger context of a customers life or within the business strategy has led me further upstream where strategy and design intersect.
I've spent most of the last 3 years traveling the world, working on challenging client engagements and immersing myself into the heads and hearts of people with the goal to build new propositions that serve them better. I have a deep curiosity and desire to bring to life innovations that drive positive impact in the world. My project experience has led me to work in both public and private sectors working across education, telecom, healthcare, energy, automotive, and financial services industries in the U.S., Europe, China and India. Most recently, I was part of a global team to help bring financial inclusion to people at the bottom of the pyramid (those living under $3 per day) in sub-Saharan Africa. I specialise in identifying and gaining deep user insight, then translating those insights into compelling business propositions that help clients grow and launch bold innovations.
