Hi. I'm Adam.

I'm a designer, thinker, maker and strategist from New York living in London. I jumped across the pond in the summer of 2013 working as a design strategy consultant for the first Doblin team established in London to help grow the European practice. I play an integral role in discovery research and insight development, where I lead the definition of design principles for the development of concepts. I have a passion for translating rich insights into multi-faceted business concepts, which help create a compelling and inspiring future for our clients.

In my work I am focused on sustaining the empathy and patient skill required to uncover the innate motivations that guide customer’s behaviors, perceptions and attitudes. I work closely with client teams to develop tangible business concepts that address these complex ecosystems; integrating technical and emotional elements to best address latent needs and market opportunity. I’m an advocate for good design and apply design thinking principles to solve for a wide array of complex business challenges.

I have a broad range of experience in telecom, life sciences, financial services, technology, automotive, consumer electronics, consumer products and energy. I've had the pleasure to work with Fortune 100 & 500 clients as well as start up clients across the US, Lat AM, Europe, and India. Clients have included: PepsiCo, Nestle, Mattel, Phizer, Mars, Campbells, GE Capital, Catterton Partners, Office Depot, Natures Variety, Time Warner Cable, Samsung, NAD Electronics, Bluesound, PSB Speakers, Toshiba, Dansk, Donna Karan, Movado, Cubby, Buca Boot, and Storij, to name a few.

Prior to joining Doblin I was the lead industrial designer for the innovation consultancy Fahrenheit 212 in New York and chairman of the IDSA NY chapter. I have a background in industrial design which served as a strong foundation in design process and thinking to solve a range of complex user centered problems.

Living in London I remain a loyal New Yorker with my fiancé and our longhaired chihuahua. I geek out on track and field, minimalism, vintage Porsche 911’s, and taking weekend drives outside the city. In my previous life I was a competitive high jumper (clearing over 7 feet), coach, and trainer prior to 'jumping' into the design/ innovation industry.

Feel free to connect.. Where you can find me...
